Boilers play a vital role in power and process industries. It has a considerable impact on productivity and product cost. Over the years Boilers have under gone considerable amount of change in design, configuration, material selection, firing method, operating parameters and the controls used.

The Fixed and moving grate fired industrial boilers are replaced with FBC and CFBC boilers. The High pressure power boilers are being replaced with super critical boilers. All these improvements have taken place to improve the efficiency, availability, reliability of boiler and to improve the heat rate of power plants. The mechanical and pneumatic signals are replaced with digital and analog signals. Today most of the  plants are operated with PLCs and DCS controls.

We at JPES are fortunate enough to go through the above phase change in the past three decades and acquired sufficient knowledge to deal with issues related to boilers and balance of plants.
